She worked in multiple areas of healthcare as a registered nurse and also in the health insurance sector. In her career she has practiced as a pharmacy technician, certified acupuncture detoxification specialist, qualified mental health professional, and a substance abuse counselor. In 2010 under the guidance of God, she started an agency helping children and adults with mental health and substance use disorders. She was the owner and chief executive director for over 11 years. Angela was blessed to be able to retire early and sell her company, so she could focus on herself and her family.
After a year of rest, Angela was compelled to continue her mission of helping others. Angela established a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in 2015 named Envision One Cultivation & Enrichment Center, aka E1CEC. E1CEC is a successor of her other company. Angela’s passion for training & uplifting the elderly and youth to enhance their lives in ways they will never forget is her passion. She’s determined to impact the lives of every person she encounters in a positive way.
Since the pandemic, Angela’s direction for E1CEC has changed. She will now focus on technology training for our seniors, the elderly population, to reduce continued disconnections with the technology world. She will focus on supporting our youth with a mentoring program to engage them in group social activities to enhance their social skills and expose them to exploratory learning opportunities. She will also focus on substance use disorder programs for adults ages 18 and older to assist in the reduction of the drug epidemic in America.
